Ze'ev "Jabo" Erlich, a 71-year-old historian and archaeologist, tragically lost his life yesterday in southern Lebanon. A resident of Ofra and a major in the IDF reserves, Erlich was killed in combat after two terrorists ambushed his group near an ancient fort.
